The Amara hotel and resort was spectacular. The hotel is clean, staff very friendly and helpful! The spa services were also amazing. Because the hotel is down a hill they offer a ride to the top of the hill where there is the main road that offer many shops and restaurants. The onsite dining in the hotel was also great. Highly recommended this hotel!

We stayed at the Amara resort for three nights. Our original room looked into a brick wall which was unacceptable. Thanks to Teah we were able to upgrade to a river view room for a modest charge. Teah deserves 5 stars.

The hotel was great. I would stay there again. The road down is better as a one way street than a two way street, but unless you needed your car, the availability of a cart to take you to the top of the hill was an excellent amenity. The pool was very relaxing, with a poolside bar. Everything you needed for a relaxing vacation.
