When we checked in, we were given a really nice and spacious room which we were impressed by—until we looked at the bed and saw a live ant crawling on it! My sister then checked the sheets and saw two MORE dead ants UNDER the sheets! We called down to the front desk where they moved us immediately. (Rightfully so) The second room we were in thankfully had no bugs, BUT it was significantly smaller and the sink was clogged, causing an immensely annoying slow drain which made it hard for us to do basic things like wash our hands or even brush our teeth, because the clogged water made the sink gross. There was also water stains on the ceiling and the paint on the top of the wall was peeled from the water stains. Definitely was given a veryyyy false illusion of this hotel being a LOT nicer than it actually was. And then the audacity to charge a $100 fee for the room when we checked in (which still has not been refunded to me), for the rooms to be as gross as they were!! We didn’t even want to transfer rooms the second time because we were only staying one night and we were so exhausted by that point, it didn’t even make sense. I made sure to call down to the guest services to ensure that we were not blamed for the clogging issue, and they told us they couldn’t get it fixed until the next day, which by that point we would be leaving! The plane noise was fine as I’m from NYC where I’m used to all loud sounds any hour of the night, but I would never stay here again.
