Love the location of this hotel. The staff were friendly and they had free salmon chowder when we checked in. My son said it was the best soup he’s ever had!! It was delicious!!

Very clean room, bathroom, refrigerator, closet, and hotel. The staff were very nice, helpful, and knowledgeable. The breakfast was surprisingly really good and fresh. The view (river side) was very nice. Thank you and will be back again . Highly recommend!!!!

I thought the seaside area was a bit tired. The boardwalk view had some undesirables hanging out there. Room was good. Inside pool was not used. Didn't look too inviting. Basic room. Probably overpriced for the location.

This was our first day at The Katherine and because of that I was a little apprehensive, but once we got there and saw the hotel and talked to the front desk people we were amazed and the location is really nice and accessible to stores and restaurants, and you’re not too far from Cannon Beach if you plan to go there. And a good restaurant in town is Finn’s.

The continental breakfast was really good. My kids really enjoyed it. There were alot of options not just cereal. I really liked that the staff kept bring out more warm food items. We also loved the location. In the heart of Seaside we walked every where. no need to drive. The beach is right down the street. We also enjoyed warm cookies at 2pm and at 4pm their hot chowder. I really liked that they had coffee in the lobby no matter what time of day it was.

The staff were very friendly and helpful the whole time. The room needs some deep cleaning in the bathroom and the carpet. We needed to wear shoes the whole time or else our feet would be dirty and black. The pool pictures made it seem like the pool was large, it ended up being a small pool. I would stay here again, but it isn’t our top choice for hotels at Seaside.

Great experience. Love all the small touches like the flavored water, free breakfast, and cookies. Location is easy to walk to everything. Pool/hot tub nice for the kids. This was one of my favorite stays. Spring for the river view room. We loved sitting on the balcony and watching the wild life.

Very clean room. Back porch right on the river, but only had one chair. Jacuzzi was nice once we figured out how to operate it. Breakfast was good. Something for everyone, but my husband was sad because he was hoping there would be a waffle maker. Coffee was great!

While the staff was wonderful and worked very hard and the breakfast was solid for being "free", the room itself had issues. Under the bed had many crumbs including gold fish from a prior guest (of which was very close to the edge of the bed. There was black mold in the bathroom shower area. Cleaniness has an opportunity.
