Classic British experience - love the pub and inn together - that way, you don't need much in the rooms themselves, cause you are downstairs having a drink , great food and a chat with other travelers - really was a brilliant experience.

Excellent helpful staff especially the lady at check in . Great breakfast ,and good dinner at fair price . Great size quiet room . The hand basin was blocked and when I put boing water down drain a lot of black gunk came out . A very helpful maintenance man cleaned it but how could housekeepers not notice this . Large stain on duvet and carpets where not very clean .
