“Would have given 4/5 stars, as staff were friendly & helpful, food & drink excellent, location fab and room & bed were lovely and clean, BUT: 1. no net curtains (and it was hot so wanted to open window and heavy curtains to let air in overnight and in the morning, but no privacy without net curtains or a blind. We were on first floor with windows opposite overlooking. 2. Extremely hot and no air conditioning, so too hot to sleep. 3. Woke up abruptly early morning - first with car alarm going...

“3rd time I've stayed. Very handy for Blyton Park. Room and pub/restaurant very enjoyable place to be. Be careful that meals are booked and confirmed the day before. Check restaurant times carefully. Pub does close very early on a Sunday.”

“Spacious room , very clean , pleasant helpful front of house , quiet great nights sleep , 5-10 min walk to airport depending on how quick or slow you walk , plenty of car parking ( daily charge for parking) it's not a thousand pound a night hotel or a five pound a night b&b but a fair priced mid market value for money hotel”

“Guys we are in the middle of a heat wave I said it’s appresive in the room came back after work the next day still no fan in the room Don’t stay here if there is a heat warning - also didn’t help having the maintenance team scrapping banging under my room after the first night. Would I stay again - yes if there’s air con - staff have been very good.”
