Yes, courtious staff. They said they had recently aquired the establishment. The pool was in need of major repair. The bed frame was off kilter, we were put at the far end of the hall on the 2nd floor even though there was only a couple other people staying and i was accompanied by my 85 year old mother. I could have requested a different room but assumed it was going to be full later. My bad. I won't be paying that price to stay there again even though it is in walking distance of my daughter's house.

For the most part, my stay was quite acceptable. Room was comfortable, clean, and relatively modern. Checkin and checkout were easy and handled by a friendly and knowledgable desk clerk. Room rate was very competitive. My criticism would be the quality of breakfast. Poor (old?) scrambled eggs, no meat, ( empty/not refilled ) and somewhat old and stale bread. No pastries of any kind. I was in the breakfast area for a minimum of 45 minutes and not once did I see an attendant. Experience was just not acceptable.
