“Our room was ok we couldn’t get the toilet to flush properly and the next morning there was water leaking through the ceiling so we had to get moved to another room. The breakfast was nothing to write home about hash browns were soggy and sausages weren’t that great either. The lady that worked in the restaurant was really nice and helpful. You were lucky if you got the lift to work. I wouldn’t rush back”

“Upon checking in was greeted by an unfriendly team member who was not welcoming. There is no lift in this hotel so we had to take our luggage down stairs and then upstairs which was horribly inconvenient. The room was ok but with no air conditioning it was much hotter inside than it was outside. There was a fan in the room that could have been turned on for us but wasn’t. There was only one towel in the bathroom, so my husband and I had to share as when we realized it was too late to request...

“The location was excellent, walking distance from town centre shops, pubs & restaurants. Hotel also had a car park and nice bar with a free pool table. Owner was very helpful with check in and explaining where everything was. It is not trying to be a luxurious hotel, but for a cheap room for the night to break up a long drive it was perfect for my needs. The only real negative I had is that the bed wasn't the comfiest but I still slept fine.”

“Recently refurbished, rooms were clean and fresh and kept the original features of the property. Bathroom was lovely and bath a great size although did miss the option of grabbing a quick shower. Bathroom needs a blind or curtain please otherwise stunning room.”

“A warm greeting, a bedroom which met my needs and a delicious breakfast that was cooked to order. The parking is not directly adjacent to the hotel but you can park on the street overnight if preferred.”

“Staff were excellent. Very nice outside area to eat in summer ! You must book in advance. (We didn't unfortunately) Meal was excellent and good breakfast the next day. Ample parking.”
