“Staff were helpful on check in, recommended some places to eat. However not a great deal in the area, Vaduz is a short drive away though. If wanting to stay local there is a good Irish bar who had very good and friendly staff. The location of the hotel itself is on an industrial estate, however parking is easy. Would have liked a kettle in the room to make hot drinks for the morning. Also cleaning didn’t change the towel and only one was provided, it doesn’t dry to quickly in the bathroom.”

“A great value and clean hotel for a quick stopover right in the middle of town. The self check in was easy and clear comms from the staff by email. Great to have a Nespresso machine in the room and a communal lounge with fridge etc too. 5 mins walk from Altstätten Stadt station on the lovely mountain railway to Appenzell and beyond. 20 mins walk or quick bus to Altstätten SG mainline station so easy to get around without a car. “Everything since the arrival is self service (you must pick up the keys from a post box) and then insider there's no one besides guests. Difficult to find the building and parking in the night (maybe would be good to send more specifications to the guests). ”
