But I especially appreciated the ability to easily book online late at night and immediately get a room and access code so that I could rest after a very long day of traveling and being too tired to make it to my destination that night. We have been coming to Schroon Lake every year for over 40 years. This was our first stay at the Maple Leaf Motel. We only stayed one night, but the accommodations were perfect for our stay. Upon arrival, we used a code to get into the motel. The room was stocked with water and snacks, which we really appreciated. The room was clean and the two queen sized beds were comfortable. Although the motel is located off the main road, we were not disturbed by traffic, and the temperature in the room was comfortable. Our room had a microwave and small refrigerator, but my daughter also had a room next to ours and it had a full kitchen area, so some rooms are different than others. The location was conveniently located just outside of the main town area, just north of the marina.

The snacks and water bottles were a nice touch, and the fridge and microwave helped us to eat in the room as there are VERY few eat out locations. The bedroom and bathroom were very spacious.
