The cabin was charming. It would have been nice to have a coffee pot inside and trying to get some heat on a cold night was difficult. The grounds and the lodge/restaurant are rustically beautiful.

A hidden gem! Lovely place with so many amenities and special touches that made it a memorable visit. The staff was friendly and helpful. The main lodge had beautiful Adirondack decor with lots of activities including a large pool, game room and sitting areas to relax, read, and work if needed. My husband works remotely and found it accommodating. The outdoor fire pits and surrounding area was beautiful for looking out to the lake.

We greatly enjoyed our stay at the Lodge at Schroon Lake. Our room was in the West Lodge which was an easy walk to the dining lodge. Our room was clean, our bed comfortable, and high end amenities were included. We enjoyed relaxing on the private covered balcony in wooden Adirondack chairs with a distant view of the lake. The Lodge beach is being upgraded and should be reopened by June 15, 2026. We were impressed how family friendly the resort is with added bunk beds in the room, outdoor yard games such as volleyball, tetherball, a huge chess board, and an included miniature golf course. We stayed before the busy season, and I tried to imagine the resort full of families. It is a wonderful place for family reunions or groups to meet up with so many activities and an easy walk into town. The Lodge staff was all very friendly and professional. We hope to return again soon.
