“Het hotel was netjes, ontbijt was prima. De bedden waren matig. Wij sliepen met 2 volwassenen en 2 kinderen op de kamer. Het bed voor de ouders was prima, de kussens stelde weinig voor. Het bed voor de kinderen was hard en klein. Uiteindelijk heeft onze dochter op de grond geslapen op de dekens. Net zo hard maar dan wel de ruimte. ”

“At the crest of the gorge but above the main road so very little noise. The staff were very helpful. The bedroom was I perfect condition as was the en suite bathroom. Unfortunately the dinner menu was limited but the receptionist suggested 4 hostelries near by. Breakfast was great. A short walk into the gorge is included in the price. At the end of the walk there is a zip wire to descend above the rapids but this needs to be organised in advance. We slept well in great comfort and enjoyed the...

“I cannot recommend Schnatterhof enough, especially for anyone traveling solo! I was traveling through Austria alone and speak essentially no German, so staying somewhere rural was a little intimidating at first. The family here went completely above and beyond to make sure I felt comfortable and could enjoy my stay.
