Our stay at The Headlands couldn't have been any better. Steve and Karen are brilliant hosts. The hotel was spotlessly clean the beds comfy and the breakfast served by Angela was excellent. Great location and would highly recommend.

Friendly family run hotel

Steve and Karen are a very welcoming couple. Together they run the hotel efficiently. The room was clean and compact. It is clear to see they both want their guests to enjoy their stay. Offering additional information about the surrounding area. Inviting feedback/comments from guests regarding their stay at The Headlands. They have a small residents bar, which is a nice touch. Would recommend this hotel for anyone wanting to stay at the quieter North Scarborough area.

First visit

We booked the hotel so we were close to the open air theater. We weren't disappointed with the location, Jill met us with a friendly smile we were shown to a family room even though there was only two people? We had drinks in the bar before we left for the concert at the open air theater. The breakfast was excellent and we will definitely use the headland hotel in the future

Easy to locate and street parking available right in front. Decor is a bit dated but still very well kept. The room was super clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good and the location is great, only a 5 minute drive for most attractions. Overall, we would stay again.

Spacious family room just right for a family of 5, nice quiet area close to attractions and amenities making it a stress free break. Helpful friendly staff, comfortable stay. My only request for improvement would be that the bathroom could do with a bit more storage for toiletries etc.. especially with family rooms when there’s 5 of you, and the bathroom door was really squeaky which was a bit annoying when you use the bathroom and are trying not to wake up the kids! Apart from those couple of minor things it was a very enjoyable stay, would definitely recommend to people with families and couples alike.

Last minute overnight sleepover.

Stayed with my wife and Granddaughter at 18 hours notice from booking. Checked in early with no problem and warm welcome from hosts Jill and David. We'd booked a family room ( room 11) which consisted of a double bed and a large bunk bed which could sleep adults. The room had full bathroom including bath with shower over. Tea and coffee facilities included and plenty of drawer space. Bed and breakfast offer only but has a licensed bar available from 6pm until 10.45pm. Breakfast offer plentiful and varied included in the room price. Pleasant setting of the breakdast room on the front of the hotel. Overall a lovely last minute stay. Very pleasant surroundings close to the North Bay.
