Great hidden gem in a quiet part of town . Short walk to the south and north bay and shops etc. We had the small double room which was lovely and clean and had everything we needed including toiletries, tea and coffee etc. breakfast did not disappoint , lots of choice and cooked breakfast was great . Hosts were lovely . Highly recommend this place

Great location and rooms.

Spotless rooms and great breakfast. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. Good location in the old town inbetween the front and the castle. Highly recommended.

We have just spent our wedding anniversary weekend at Tall Storeys and cannot rate it highly enough. We were welcomed by Ian and Morna with a card and bottle of fizz. We had a lovely room with a view over the harbour. Ian’s breakfasts were excellent. There is a lovely garden which we were shown around. We were lucky enough to be able to park outside the house and we were given a parking disc for the whole weekend. Would certainly go back when in Scarborough again.

Very friendly guest house

The room was very cosy and had everything you could possibly want in. The breakfast was lovely and the hosts could not do enough for you. Will definitely stay there again but hopefully next time will be able to book one of the four poster rooms with a lovely sea view.

Better Than A Home From Home

Our hosts Morna and Ian provided an excellent standard of service. Breakfasts were delicious, healthy and lovingly cooked and were a looked forward to part of every morning. Our accommodation was spotlessly clean with amazing sea views. There was a comfortable lounge to relax in and the garden was a delight to stroll through. My wife and I would not hesitate to recommend Tall Storeys to other people.

Perfect stay

A lovely bedroom with a 4 poster bed overlooking the harbour. Everything you could possibly need in your room. A very friendly and welcoming couple who run the guest house. A really good breakfast in the morning to help set you up for the day. We would not hesitate to stay again and would recommend to all our friends.

Great hotel!

Lovely hotel close to Scarborough sea front and a 10 minute walk to the town centre. Wonderful hosts, nothing too much trouble. Excellent full English breakfast! Booked a sea view with a four poster bed, room had lots of character with everything we needed. Didn’t hear any noise from other guests. The hotel even has a beautiful garden to relax in. Can’t wait until our next visit.

Moran and Ian were incredible hosts and went out of their way to provide tips and help during our stay. They made our visit truly comfortable.
