10/10 — Incredible beachfront boutique hotel Maramara Playa was the highlight of our trip to Sayulita. The hotel is literally right on the sand, and our room had floor-to-ceiling windows plus a big private balcony overlooking the beach and sunset - absolutely beautiful. The design is new, modern, and very comfortable. Staff communication was excellent, and their custom town guide was super helpful. Loved the included beach club and patio, and the surf break is just steps away. Perfect for couples, families, solo travelers, and surfers. We would 100% stay here again.

There was loud music played on the beach below until 4:30 am. There were no food options or any amenities onsite. The stair access to the room was sketchy and unsafe. This might be a great hotel for someone who just wants to party at the beach bars but not for anyone else. At best the hotel is 2 stars with a 5 star view of the beach with loud music drowning out the sound of the ocean.

La habitación es hermosa, la Propiedad no tanto.. al hacer el check in me dijeron que debía de pagar y les comenté que Expedia ya me había cobrado y tuve que enseñar mi cuenta de banco, le tomaron fotos y aún así no nos permitieron hacer el check in .. la cosa es que la ocasión anterior pasó lo mismo.. no se si sea el sistema de ellos o de Expedia.. decidí no pagar otra vez hasta que se comunicaran con Expedía.. me fui a comer a un restaurante y al final me mandaron un mensaje diciendo que ya podía subir a mi habitación. Al hacer el check out una chica estaba en la recepción y tuvo el mismo problema y la hicieron pagar otra vez. Creo que la próxima vez buscaré otra opción de alojamiento como Sayulinda.
