“Great location. It was ideal for what we needed it for. We found it hadn't really been cleaned properly. Bits of chedder crisps left underneath the side table . We had to wash up most of the bowls and saucepans before use as had dried bits of food on them. My son dropped a small toy that rolled just under the bed in the main bedroom, it was filthy under there. Think they do the bare minimum clean between each guests. ”

“This was such a great stay. Really cute pub with amazing food and such a cosy, welcoming atmosphere. Everyone we interacted with was keen to know if we were happy and seemed genuinely pleased when we said we were. The room was very clean and comfortable with lots of little touches which made it extra special. We hope to come back soon!”

“Lovely 3 night stay. Rooms were comfortable and nicely decorated. We booked two rooms and were assigned one in the courtyard and one in the main building. Bathroom in the courtyard room was significant bigger but otherwise rooms were comparable. Great location. Definitely recommend booking with breakfast included. The breakfast was delicious and included a cooked breakfast item from the menu as well as the buffet style yogurt, pastries, toast, fruit etc. The homemade compote was absolutely...

“The room was clean. The bathroom a little inconvenient (especially the shower, which is hard to use without spraying everywhere). The staff are very pleasant. The breakfast is not great, especially if you choose the non full english breakfast options.”

“A lovely warm welcome (home made cookies!) and a very comfortable stay. The room was spacious, beds huge, bathroom accessible, bathroom products divine, and there was lots of storage space. Walking distance to the beach and to The Ship Inn, and easy driving distance to other interesting places to visit: Felbrigg Hall, Holt, Blakeney (seal safari) and Wells Next The Sea all worth a visit. Breakfast was lovely and service excellent.”
