Good practical hotel

Though a bit dated, this hotel is well maintained and practical. Hotel overall and rooms are kept is good working order and clean. The staff is friendly and professional. Restaurants are nice, especially the old one. One of the best things with this hotel is the location. Especially in summer, the location is beautiful and a nice short walk to center of Savonlinna.

Perushotelli, upea sijainti

Spahotelli Casinon paras puoli on sen sijainti. Uimalaituri on kätevästi lähellä ja uimaan voi siksi pulahtaa kätevästi. Hotelli on myös lähellä juna-asemaa ja toria. Olavinlinnalle on viehättävä kävelymatka rantoja pitkin. Luontopolkuja löytyy lähisaarilta. Yövyimme oopperajuhlien aikaan. Varasimme superior -huoneen järvinäköalalla. Hinta oli 742 euroa kahdelta yöltä. Järvinäköala oli kuitenkin vain osittainen, koska pääosin näköalana oli vaahtera- ja leppävesaikko. Kannattaisi siis markkinoida huonetta osittaisella näköalalla. Saimme vaihdettua huoneemme, jolloin näkymät paranivat kuvien kaltaisiksi. Huoneen siivous jätti toivomisen varaa, koska melko keskeisestä kohdasta löytyi vielä pölypallero. Toinen kylpytakeista oli revennyt taskun kohdalta. Terassin toinen tuoli oli rikki, mutta se vaihdettiin nopeasti pyynnöstä. Huolimattomuuksia, joita ei tällä hintatasolla odottaisi. Muutenkaan huone ei tuonut superior-vaikutelmaa, mutta oli mukava standard- huone. Aamiainen oli tavanomainen, savumuikut plussaa. Palaisin silti tähän hotelliin juuri sen erinomaisen ihanan sijainnin vuoksi.

Die Lage ist super praktisch, und die unmittelbare Umgebung sehr schön. -Die Standardzimmer sind ok, aber wirklich klein und überhaupt nicht zeitgemäß. Hätte ich das gewußt, hätte ich ein Superiorzimmer genommen. Diesen reichen von Größe und Standard an mitteleuropäische Standards heran.

Yleisilmeeltään monin paikoin aika kulahtanut hotelli, mutta superior-huoneen kylpyhuone oli täysin remontoitu hiljattain. Hyvät sängyt ja vuodevaatteet. Aamiainen erittäin hyvä. Tarjolla oli mm. savumuikkuja, helmikaurapuuroa ja itse paistettavia vohveleita monipuolisine lisukkeineen.

Ok perustason hotelli

Ihan ok perustason hotelli. Superior-luokan huone oli remontoitu ja siisti. Plussaa isosta parvekkeesta josta näkymä järvelle. Huoneen siivouksesta sen verran moitetta, että entisen asukkaan jäljiltä oli jotain paperiroskaa jäänyt lattialle. Kylpylässä oli ihan kiva käydä pitkän päivän ajomatkan jälkeen, mutta se kyllä kaipaisi pintaremonttia. Höyrysaunaan ei viitsinyt edes mennä kun haisi aika pahalle. Aamupala oli aika peruslaatuinen. Mitään pakollista ei puuttunut, mutta toisaalta ei tarjonnut mitään erityistäkään. Hinta superiorhuoneessa oli 102e / vrk sisältäen kylpylän käytön. Hinta oli mielestäni ihan linjassa hotellin tasoon nähden.

Mukava hotelli, joka kaipaa kipeästi remonttia

Aamiainen oli hyvä kuten aina ennenkin, kuten myös palvelu, ja huoneiden sähkölukot toimivat poikkeuksellisen hyvin. Hotelli on kuitenkin pitkään kaivannut isoa remonttia alkaen kylpyhuoneista sekä ikkunoiden ja parvekeovien uusimisesta. Huoneen 202 bidee-suihkun letku oli 2m pitkä, mutta pitäisi olla 2,5m, jotta sillä voisi suorittaa alapesun, ja suihkuverho kannattaisi korvata lasiseinillä, ja huoneen kalustus oli väärin mitoitettu huoneen pieneen kokoon nähden. Kylpylän miesten suihkuletku oli tyvestä lähes poikki, mutta vielä toimi. Mikäli taso on tämä myös heinäkuussa, kun oopperajuhlien aikaan huoneen hinta nousee yli 200€:n, hinta tulee olemaan törkeä korkea ainakin hotellin vanhan puolen huoneiden kuntoon nähden.
