Pls stay max 1 night - especially the Family room

Very noisy - rooms towards the road are not recommended. Unpleasant neighborhood - very pricey for this quality and season - app 180€ for a family room - which does not invite to stay longer than one night. For one „emergency“ stop ok - breakfast and service is good. As a couple with see view I would give 3-4 stars - as the area is not nice …

Savona must stay

The Mare Hotel is a beautiful seaside hotel, my only regret is not booking a water view room. Great service, the restaurants were delicious. The breakfast was included and had a lot of great options.

We had a lovely 2 night stay at this hotel. Beautiful room. Great for parking the car. The only disappointment was that the restaurant we would have like to try was closed on the Monday and on the Tuesday was booked out at lunch and dinner for a private function. ( we stayed Monday and Tuesday night)

Fantastic stay!

We had a wonderful stay at Mare Hotel in Savona and would highly recommend it. From the moment I arrived, the reception team was incredibly kind and welcoming, setting the tone for a great visit. The hotel offers three restaurants, and the one I dined at was absolutely lovely. The food was excellent, and the atmosphere added to the experience. My room was exceptionally spacious, with a large bathroom, plenty of fresh linen and towels, and top-quality toiletries. The bed was very comfortable, and I appreciated the thoughtful touches like a great selection of coffee and tea, as well as a well-stocked fridge. The balcony was a perfect spot to relax and watch the world go by. One of the highlights of Mare Hotel is its direct access to the beach, making it incredibly convenient for a seaside escape. The town center is just a 20-minute walk away, easily reachable via the road or a scenic stroll along the beach. As a female traveler, I felt completely safe throughout my stay. The hotel’s environment is secure and welcoming. Overall, I had a fantastic experience and would definitely stay here again the next time I’m in Savona.

The swimming pool and beach are amazing. Breakfast was really nice. I did not like the room. Very run down and the bedding was terrible. I booked the room based on 4 star to celebrate my daughter’s end of school. I had to have a room change due to the seal on the back door would not close. The staff was wonderful and accommodating. The new room I got had a ceiling leak and it rained overnight. The leak ruined food gifts that I picked up during my two week vacation in France and Italy. The property would be perfect if they would fix their rooms.

After not very glorious arrival, when the staff person at the parking lot willingly mislead us to park inside (10 euro a night) insisting the outside is equal price (it is free) - and receptionist solved it that we did not have to pay and then for the rest of time we parked outside, the rest of the stay was okay. Some staff were great, some were mediocre (but this is ok). The cleaning lady on our floor was awesome. Breakfasts were awesome. Sushi dinner great. Room facing the sea was great. Overall we like it, except for the last night when there was a wedding in the hotel. Fireworks right under a window at 23:00? This was fine. But another fireworks at 2:00 am? Shame. Disrupted night, bad sleep with next day morning departure.

Wir können das Hotel weiterempfehlen. Das Personal ist freundlich und hilfsbereit. Der Restaurantbereich , Außenanlage und Strand sind gepflegt. Insbesondere ist die Terrasse zum Frühstücken sehr schön. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist reichhaltig und wird ständig aufgefüllt. Unser Hotelzimmer hat zwar keineswegs den Bildern entsprochen (älter / nicht renoviert) war aber ausreichend groß, mit Balkon und ruhig. Eine Renovierung sollte aber in den kommenden Jahren erfolgen, damit es den Sternen entspricht. Aktivitäten und Restaurants, Bars in der Nähe des Hotels gibts leider wenig bis gar nicht. Mit dem Bus (Haltestelle vor dem Hotel) und der Touristcard (per App; Aktivierung bei der Rezeption) kommt man aber schnell in die Innenstadt. Unterm Strich würden wir das Hotel wieder buchen.
