Beautiful hotel well maintained. Staff was great very polite and friendly. The restaurant at the hotel was delicious. The upstairs bar is really nice views but there drinks are a bit over priced we paid $40 for 2 drinks. Comfortable beds and nice rooms but can use a bit of a refresh. Example,there were some tiles broken in the bathroom and the floorboards need a fresh coat of paint some stains in the sitting area but overall a nice room. Wonderful location close to everything. The size of the room is big, and it has bay windows which kids enjoyed. The staff there weren't necessarily friendly. The front desk staff forgot to give us breakfast vouchers and we ended up paying for it. The front door staff next days refused to refund the breakfast full despite I paid for two when I booked the hotel. They refunded one person. That wasn't a pleasant experience. The facility provides hot water and cold water for drink, which is very nice, particularly when you travel with young kids. It also provides free fruits and ice. The carpet on the public area is kind of old already, but the rooms have wood floor which is clean. The location of the hotel is very nice too. There are lots merits of Alida, but there are spaces for improvement too.
