The Alida is a beautiful hotel. The staff were excellent and friendly. You couldn't ask for a better location with easy access to River Street. The little touches made the experience more memorable. For one example, there seemed to be a scent theme from the time you walk into the lobby to the toiletries in the bathroom. The rooftop bar had amazing views of downtown Savannah. I had a uniquely shaped room on the north end of the hotel that had multiple windows, lots of natural light, and views of the Talmadge Memorial Bridge. If I had a criticism, there was a minor problem with the hot water getting hot and staying hot on our end of the hotel, but this didn't really take away from my enjoyment of the experience. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would love to come back!

We stopped here on our way home from Florida. It happened to be on the night of the lighted boat parade. It is an excellent location. Walking distance to most areas in the Historic District. This was our first stay at The Alida, but certainly won’t be the last. Every staff member we encountered went above and beyond to be accommodating, and full of knowledge, and warm personalities. Record player in the room was solid! The room itself was very comfortable and well appointed. The shower pressure could have been better; but if that’s the only minor inconvenience…then so be it. On site dining and cocktails, top tier. Location, on point. We will absolutely be back. Cheers
