I love the history of the building and the architecture that is still there. I love how even though it was turned into a hotel you can still see the old parts of the cotton warehouse. Very well maintained for its age. We are locals and love Savannah and this hotel is a staple in the heart of the downtown district.

River Street Inn is a historic, boutique hotel full of charm. The rooms were spacious and the hospitality gracious. Wonderful Happy Hour. Excellent location. However.....River Street Inn imposes a destination fee which may be typical of all hotels in Savannah. Also know that while the Inn provides parking, it is nearly four times the cost of a public garage steps away across Bay Street.

The River Street Inn is a beautifully maintained historic building, in a great location, with an amazing view from our riverview room. The staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. We were the "guest of the day" and were given 2 free breakfasts at the Broken Keel, which was really tasty and is located on the 2nd floor, which makes it very convenient. I would certainly stay here again.
