I was absolutely blown away by the Municipal Grand. The staff called to let us know our room was ready early, the hotel was immaculate with gorgeous decor and a stunning bar, pool and restaurant. It’s in the perfect part of town to sight see. We will absolutely be back to stay at the municipal grand! Jack at the roof bar was beyond excellent. He was very attentive and cordial. Wait staff was very slow and we had to ask several times to get what we needed for our meal. Room was ok. Didn’t get several things needed when they cleaned the room. Front desk staff was great. Would probably not stay there again.

Hands down the best appointed and most comfortable stays my husband and I have experienced, EVER! The mid mod decor and architecture , moody milk glass lighting, plush upholstery beg you to relax and indulge yourself. It is well located. It is an easy walk to the riverfront, downtown shopping and dining, Forsyth Park, SCAD, a delightful local theater and beautiful historic homes. They make a killer omelet and the small bars tucked away throughout the property are charming. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful. We were only there one night but it felt like several days. We appreciated the umbrellas provided, as it rained sporadically, so we could go out on excursions. We look forward to staying here again. The Municipal Grand is luxurious, romantic and downright sexy.

What a beautiful place to stay. Very comfortable with beautiful design. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Everything was very clean and check in was a breeze. The bar was gorgeous and the cocktails were made perfectly. The only thing that could have been better was the pool water temperature. It was very very cold so we were unable to use it. That being said the pool area and view from the rooftop is stunning with lots of comfortable seating. Would definitely stay here again.

Very stylish property, top to bottom. We enjoyed the rooftop, and the design details of the historic building. Staff are friendly. Overall a comfortable and convenient stay. The pillows are enormous, which looks nice, but not super comfortable. The bed seemed very used, for a one-year-old hotel (uneven) - luckily it was huge as well. Sound insulation was excellent, as were the blackout curtains. The room had a couple areas that could have been cleaned better. Unclear if the water is safe to drink. The bar prices are high compared to the surrounding area.
