We had a good stay. The hotel is very close to the beach and they have provided enough chairs and beach towels for our stay. The staff were very kind as well. It was a short stay but great one!

This is my favorite place to be, just steps out to the beach and restaurants. Also they provide you with beach chairs and towels so that’s less packing you have to do. This made our third time visiting and hopefully the next time won’t be as long of a wait to do it again

We had the King Bed with ocean view. It was a spectacular view. Short walk to the beach. Close proximity to eateries and shopping. Enjoyed the complimentary Beach Yoga. There's plenty of parking for guests. I like that you need a key card to get into the hotel since registration is not in the hotel. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable of the area. However, in our room we found food left in the microwave. Someone's bathing suit in the drawer.

I had a pleasant stay overall, but I wanted to share some constructive feedback regarding the value. The staff was wonderful, and the property has a lot of charm. However, the rooms and facilities are feeling quite dated and are in need of some refreshing to truly match the premium rates. While I appreciate the hospitality, the current price point feels a bit high for the worn condition of the furnishings. With a few renovations, this place would be fantastic, but for now, it feels slightly overpriced.

The only thing I like about Hotel Tybee is the location and the view of the beach. The hotel is very old and it needs renovation, The bed is horrible, the water has an awful smell and the tub did not drain when running the shower, had to get maintenance to fix it. The room does not look as advertised, the furniture is very old. I have no complaints about the staff, they all were very nice!

The hotel was great. It was right on the beach as advertised. Also saved us $40 a day parking at the local lots around the area. We paid extra for the beach view and it was beautiful. Short 5 minute walk to the beach from our room and they had outdoor showers on the street behind the beach. We also liked that several restaurants, ice cream shop and shaved ice shop were walking distance. We will stay again.

Ideal for a beach location. First room we had, the bedding was very obviously not changed. Went back to the front desk and moved us immediately to a new room without any issues. Short walk to the beach and 2 pools on site for when a beach break is needed. Pier is a short walk and all of the dining and shopping options needed surrpund the area.

Originally, I thought the room was clean because the bed was very clean. The more time I spent in the room the more I realized it was dirty. The curtain had old food on it, the shower and sink had hair in it. The towels had long strings of black hair on them. The toilet was dirty around the bottom. I usually tip our housekeeper when we stay in hotels, but not this time. We wanted this hotel to work out because of its close proximity to the beach, but the datedness of the property and the lack of cleanliness in our room left a lasting negative impression.

We enjoyed our stay. The floors could have been swept and mopped a little better, but overall the room was nice. Being on the beach I do understand the sand though. The hotel is older but still the room was nice. Good view of the ocean. I would stay there again.
