We had a wonderful experience at City Express by Marriott Pooler Savannah. The hotel was very clean, well-maintained, and had plenty of convenient parking. The staff was exceptionally friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived. What really stood out was how the team went above and beyond to ensure our check-in process was smooth and that our entire stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Their attention to customer service made a great impression on us. We would definitely stay here again when visiting the area and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and friendly place to stay. They don’t have wipes or anything to clean equipment in the gym and it was noticeable. Breakfast was very limited. They clean your room after your stay is over, not during. My shower made an high pitch noise when the hot water was on. Outside of this, the staff was very kind and maintenance was helpful.

When we arrived the room was clean but our fridge freezer was completely filled with frost. The air conditioner was not very cool. Housekeeping attended to our bathroom but not the rest of the room throughout the duration of our stay. Parking was very nice. We did use the indoor swimming pool which was good.

The property needs to be updated. We booked under the impression it was Best Western Premier with breakfast and while we were there it changed to City Express and they had no breakfast and coffee was cold. The only reason I’m giving them 2 start is because the staff was great and I know it was not there fault.

I love how easy it was to get off and on 95. Also the staff were so helpful in making sure we had coffee and other essentials . However the hotel was undergoing a switch over to Marriott. and things were a little off. Like the pool was being closed for repairs. We could'nt get a room on first floor. but it worked out fine. There is a elevator and cart to aid a smooth check- in for anyone with mobility issues. Over all it was very pleasant. I would do it again.
