The floors and bed was dirty . But, the lady running it was very nice and pleasant.
The Amethyst Garden delivered everything it promised . Charming decor, spacious rooms. Excellent home cooked breakfast and always refreshments and treats on offer .
Beautiful, comfortable, clean historic INN to stay at in Savannah. Walkable by 15 minutes to most desired locations. We stayed in the Dahlia room and it was spectacular! We had a lovely sitting area with an outdoor porch when it wasn’t raining and the bed was very very comfortable. Beware that breakfast is not served till 9 AM which was a little late for us however it was delicious. The innkeeper was wonderful and very friendly. This is a lovely place to say if you want to enjoy Savannah.
The Amethyst Garden Inn was absolutely beautiful. We parked and walked almost everywhere in Downtown Savannah. Chemise made some wonderful breakfasts for us and was a tremendous host. Would definitely stay here again.
I will definitely be back. The inn was Is it was beautiful and within walking distance to spots and restaurants in Savannah. Chemise was the best hostess. The breakfast she prepared for us was amazing. I highly recommend this place to anyone coming to Savannah.

Great place. Be mindful of the room you book.
Stay was great. Was a little disappointed that our room was in the basement. The inn was not filled so would have loved to been upgraded to a room in the house. Also, the bathroom was tough. Our shower flooded our bathroom each day. Service was great, very friendly.
Loved the home and the woman that ran the place (sorry, forgot her name). The bathroom, honestly, was awesome. Most older places you stay have horrible bathrooms. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast the next day was homemade and delicious. The property itself is absolutely stunning and right in the mix of things. My two main complaints are (1) super-expensive; and (2) stairs, stairs, and more stairs. Both to be expected, however. Would definitely go back.

Chemise was very welcoming and informative regarding Savannah and the areas we should visit. The property was charming. We stayed in the Ivy room and the shower was incredible and the bed comfortable. The only thing I would suggest is full length curtains that make up for the gaps the shades/blinds leave. Otherwise a very beautiful property. Thank you.
We couldn’t resist this property from the first time we saw the pictures. It was exactly as described and we felt like we were living 200+ years ago but with modern conveniences. It was so charming and we loved our stay. The breakfast and afternoon nibbles were so delicious, hats off to the chef!! Very conveniently located and we would definitely come back!

Did not meet expectations
The common rooms and dining are are indeed beautiful but the bedroom we got was overpriced and furnished with Chinese knockoffs.
The service was adequate but far from our expectations from the pricing. We are very frequent travelers and have a good sense of what to expect- related to location and price. This place fell short
OH MY GOODNESS! EXCELLENT! EXCELLENT!
SPECTACULAR!
The yard and home are beautiful. I received a very warm welcome from Chemise. She served delicious breakfasts in the dining room every morning and was always available if I needed anything. Outside there are garden areas with chairs and tables. It was wonderful to sit and relax while hearing their water fountains.
Amethyst Garden Inn is in a great neighborhood.
Easy to walk to restaurants, shops and tourist spots. The very elegant room I stayed in was gorgeous. I felt like a Queen❣️
This house is a purple beauty. The manager Chemise went to a lot of effort to make things special for us. She explained her connection to the house and gave us the history, prepared a wonderful breakfast every morning and helped us get oriented with things to do in Savannah.
The property is lovely and quiet - the owner was on site doing maintenance while we were there; but everything was in perfect order in our room. The decor is comfortable yet elegant. We enjoyed the character in the house. The property is secured with locked gates, and the area is safe.
For us it was convenient to park our car and walk all weekend - we never needed to drive until our trip over to Tybee Island.
