Location is an easy drive to SSM. There are trails around or you can just walk around the campground. Everything you need for a short stay is right there. Nice to be able to cook my own meals instead of going out all the time.

We stayed here on our long return trip home. We only needed a place to sleep, since we arrived late and left early. It was pet friendly place with air conditioning and cheaper than local hotels. That being said, there were lots of bugs and the place felt quite damp. In the future, if we need to stay in the Soo, we would choose somewhere else.

We were only there 1 night so didnt really have time to avail ourselves of all the facilities. Our cottage was clean and comfortable and quiet. There were plenty of towels. The laundry facilities were most welcome after a week of camping.

While the cabin was clean and roomy there were a few issues that could be fixed to make it a bit better. The inner tank pieces of the toilet need to be replaced, runs on and makes a lot of noise. The tub tap is also in need of replacement. There was a strong food odor that greeted us when we arrived and anytime we left and came back. Opening the windows helped and having the air on cleared it for awhile. Also in one room you had to move the bed to the wall to be able to close the door. The Glenview is in a convenient location to head back to the Soo.

This was a great place to stay! We often struggle with accommodations when driving to Thunder Bay from Toronto because if we end up at a motel there’s nothing to do except sit on the bed and watch tv. Glenview fixes that! There’s a pool, you can walk around the grounds, there’s places to sit outside and the cottage was very comfortable with a nice couch and a totally separate bedroom. Our only complaint was the floor was quite dirty so we ended up wearing our shoes inside so we didn’t ruin our socks. We also could have used some cleaning supplies; paper towels to clean up a spill, that kind of thing.
