This place was absolutely wonderful. Clean and comfortable, beautiful surroundings and our hosts couldn’t have been nicer and more helpful. Great breakfast, too. Close to many villages as well as Sarlat, without being in the thick of the city. Would definitely stay there again if I return.

Great start to holiday

Due to flights we had 2 nights here before moving to our holiday accommodation. The owners were fantastic, nothing was too much trouble, breakfastgreat and fridge stocked for us to use at reasonable prices. Lovely rooms and hotel very close to Sarlat.

You will not find a finer place to stay in Sarlat. Tom and Johanna are welcoming and accommodating hosts who have gone out of their way to make our stay comfortable and satisfying. A few minutes a go, he did emergency surgery on one of our hiking poles. He volunteered to drive me to a car rental office and did some crucial translating for me. Johanna will clean your room as often as you like and because we’ve been here for an entire week she let us use her laundry room. Tom and Johanna even booked tickets online for us when I had some difficulty negotiating the websites. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the breakfasts offer a full array of choices, and the price is right. In fact, I told them they should be charging more, but they know their price point and they’re sticking to it.

Sens de l'accueil et sourire

Nous avons particulièrement apprécié l'accueil de Johanna et Tom, un couple sympathique et à l'écoute de leurs hôtes. Viennoiseries, fruits frais, confitures maison... le petit-déjeuner était excellent et idéal pour bien commencer la journée. Le repas du soir était bon et copieux. Nous souhaitons à ce jeune couple une bonne continuation pour la suite.

Un petit week-end bien agréable à Sarlat.

Nous avons choisi les chambres d'hôtes de la Colline pour un petit week-end en amoureux à Sarlat. L'accueil, les explications ainsi que la situation de la chambre sont parfaits. Le petit déjeuner est bien agréable et avec du choix. Une petite anecdote, c'est le petit accent belge ou flamand ( je pense..) bien sympa des propriétaires. Le seul petit bémol pour nous a été le matelas car il était un peu trop mou et nous sommes habitués à une literie plus ferme pour le dos. Et pour les fans de télé, il faut savoir qu'il n'y en a pas.
