Staying in 4 star hotel in sarlat.

Weather was cool.the location was excellent. But these hotels should not be 4 star it should be 2 and 1/5 The noise was 2 much. The bed was disaster. We couldn't sleep comfortably. The tv power was on all night that makes room shine. They should have the tv that power should be under the tv not a side.

The Grand..not so

We booked the Grand Hotel as its facilities included a health suite including a pool,sauna & jacuzzi to relax in after a 4hr drive,however upon arrival we were told that the Jacuzzi was unavailable. I also requested a bath in the bathroom which was ignored as we were placed in a room with only a shower.. 3rd minor whinge was the fact the double bed was made up of 2 single mattresses which inevitably during the night parted. And finally due to these discrepancies, i asked for a complimentary breakfast or even a price reduction on the €16 pp cost,which was dismissed as i made my booking through Hotels.com..whatever that meant..

Hotel con habitaciones obsoletas, la limpieza nefasta (debajo de las camas y esquinas tela), el solarium es de tierra pero la ubicaciĂłn es magnifica, tiene horario de piscina muy amplio y es semicerrada. No considero que merezca tener 4* salvo por su ubicaciĂłn y piscina. El jacuzzi no estaba operativo, la sauna no fui. La ubicaciĂłn de 10 y la piscina muy bien. Nous sommes restĂ©s 4 nuitees. L'Accueil de l'hĂŽtel Ă©tait trĂšs sympathique, et le personnel du mĂ©nage Ă©galement. Nous avons apprĂ©ciĂ© que le personnel vĂ©rifiait que nous sĂ©journions bien dans l'hĂŽtel quand nous y entrions : sĂ©curitĂ© top. La chambre Ă©tait agrĂ©able, mais nous avons dĂ» rĂ©soudre un problĂšme de lumiĂšre, car il n'y a aucune lampe au plafond. Nous avons dĂ» deviner qu'il fallait tourner les lampes de chevet en l'air pour ĂȘtre correctement Ă©clairĂ©s, et avons rĂ©clamĂ© une lampe pour le coin micro, qui nous a Ă©tĂ© promptement fournie. La salle de bain Ă©tait trĂšs propre. Les peignoirs de bain et petits chaussons fournis par l'hĂŽtel Ă©taient apprĂ©ciables pour aller Ă  la piscine, chauffĂ©e Ă  26° (elle parait cependant plus fraiche si le soleil n'a pas chauffĂ© longuement le toit ouvrant). Malheureusement, le jaccuzzi Ă©tait en panne pour plusieurs semaines, nous a-t-on dit. Nous aurions peut-ĂȘtre dĂ» demander un petit dĂ©dommagement car ces Ă©quipements avaient fait la diffĂ©rence pour notre choix. Les petits-dĂ©jeuners Ă©taient bons et avec du choix. En tournant un peu, nous sommes toujours arrivĂ©s Ă  trouver de la place non payante sur l'avenue oĂč est situĂ© l'hĂŽtel. Il y a une crĂȘperie hollandaise sympathique dans une rue adjacente, et les commerces et restaurants de Sarlat sont Ă  5 mn Ă  pied.

L’accueil de l’hĂŽtel est parfait et efficace. Son organisation est bien dĂ©taillĂ©e ainsi que pour le stationnement de votre vĂ©hicule. La chambre avec terrasse est trĂšs confortable et il est agrĂ©able que celle-ci soit Ă©quipĂ©e de peignoirs et chaussons. L’accĂšs au spa es t facile de 7h Ă  23h. Un bĂ©mol tout de mĂȘme, la tempĂ©rature de l’eau de la piscine ne demande qu’à ĂȘtre chaude, de mĂȘme pour le jacuzzi qui affiche 33c‱, trop froid pour profiter pleinement et se dĂ©tendre. L’hĂŽtel est trĂšs calme. Le petit dĂ©jeuner est de qualitĂ© pour un tarif raisonnable. L’hĂŽtel propose une sĂ©lection de restaurants Ă  proximitĂ© pour notre confort. Séjour pour le nouvel an. L'hÎtel est correct. Un peu déçu par le ménage. Que les draps ne soient pas changés cela ne me dérange aucunement, seulement un coup d'aspirateur ne ferait pas de mal... L'accueil était trÚs agréable. Dommage pour la piscine endommagée, nous avions choisi l'hÎtel en partie pour cela. Un petit geste commercial n'aurait pas été de trop.

Situation pratique et belles prestations

Bel hotel bien rénové a qq pas du coeur de Sarlat. Et une jolie piscine semi couverte qui fait toute la différence et qui permet de se reposer entre 2 repas. Tres sympathique d'autant qu'a defaut de parking on peut laisser sa voiture dans la rue sans parcmetre !

SĂ©jour de 3 nuits, je reste sur ma faim. Un 4 Ă©toile ? J aurais plutĂŽt donner 2 Ă©toile. Nettoyage des chambre moyen , ils prenne serviette suspendu et ne remettent pas d autre du coup 2 serviette pour 3. Peti dej a 16€ qui est excessif sauf si vous venez les premiers. Nous Ă©tant en week-end court nous prenions notre petit dej Ă  9h30 et avions moins de choix, il ne prĂ©vois pas un choix Ă©gale au premier et au dernier.
