Anne’s Washington Inn is a gem lost in time!! It’s a beautiful historic inn that is picture perfect. I can just see the racing fans from years ago enjoying the grounds. The owner Joe is awesome! He treats everyone like family and is always available to chat or lend a helping hand! I felt like I was staying with family. Great dining room and breakfast and surprising touches like complimentary Bourbon available for those evenings on the porch! Located an easy and pretty walk to shops, restaurants, parks and the track. Everything we needed! Just perfect!
The room we were in was very disappointing- it was behind the lower part of the house. The room felt like a basement and it was definitely damp- towels on the wall were damp. Honestly this room should not be used or needs serious attention before offered.
Breakfast was very minimal- we basically took the coffee and skipped the rest.
Only positive was the Inn Keeper was positive & friendly. Location worked for us.
Too bad as it is a beautiful property.
It's a beautiful property. The grounds are kept immaculate, there's a gas fire pit with a bunch of adirondack chairs around it for guests to use, the small selection for breakfast was nice. We mostly had coffee and a banana for trekking out into town for breakfast each day. Big parking lot.
The building we were in was perfumed with some kind of lavender scent. It was too strong! Our room (23) was exceedingly small. Tiny closet, tiny bathroom which had no separation between bathroom floor and shower. It was all one tiled floor that slanted toward the shower drain. It was a bit difficult for 2 adults to coexist in that room while getting ready in the mornings, but we made it work. It was one of the more affordable places to stay, so I booked it knowing that the room was a small one.
The owner, Joe, is a super nice guy, very friendly and helpful. Something happened with a false fire alarm overnight that kept us awake for a while before it got fixed and the next day there was a bottle of Prosecco and 2 glasses outside our door with a note of apology. Very classy.
It's walking distance to town and even to SPAC, so it was definitely the right choice for us. We had a really nice 3 night stay.
This is a very charming place with an exceptionally welcoming feeling just south of the main business area of Saratoga springs. Sometimes it’s the little things like a pantry at the front desk with items costing just a dollar and payment in a jar (a frog pottery) on the honor system. Certainly a far cry from the corporate minibar.
Great location, very clean and beds were super comfortable. Very attentive to all their guests. I would definitely recommend and would stay there again.
Anne's Washington is a wonderful place to stay. Accomodations are excellent, prperty is gorgeous, breakfast is an added delight. Joey is a magnificent host and keeps everything going at a great pace. This was our second visit and we hope to return.
Joe is the the best Inn keeper in the land , friendly , courteous, and there to help .He will make sure your visit is great. Not that many years ago, Joe picked me up at the Saratoga train station, drove us to the Inn. When we came home from a day of racing, our clothes were hung and put away. Morning breakfast is fantastic, try the oatmeal, when you are going out to enjoy the surrounding area, please ask Joe , he knows and will help.
Nuff said.
Absolutely wonderful stay! Joe is a magnificent host and the property was wonderful all around. We booked for next year before leaving, can't wait to be back!

This place was fabulous! The huge Victorian front porch had a swing, cafe tables , hanging ferns, etc. I could stay there for hours. Joe keeps this inn in tip top shape. Free bikes to cruise around on, great nostalgic vibe to the whole place. Love it!
