We paid for an executive room. Toilet did not work properly. We were told there is no maintenance person on the weekends and we should use the lobby bathroom. Room also had a weird smell. Beds were comfortable and the other things in the room worked at least. Not recommended.

Clean and safe if worn down. The building is showing its age from the cracked rubber on the stairs dum lighting everywhere and walls that need painting. The bathroom door hit the toilet so it didn't open all the way. The ice machine was broken and it had the worst coffee I have had in a long time, from machine not made. The breakfast was typical and the yogurt machine looked interesting though finding bowls was difficult. You get what you pay for safe, clean and serviceable. Too bad no work out area

The room was very clean & comfortable. I have to say the gentleman that checked us in was so polite & courteous. The gentleman I was traveling with was 85 years old and has Parkinsons. When he told me the room was on the second floor and there was no elevator, I winced. When I explained why he quickly changed us to room 101 & it was perfect.I wished I had gotten his name. Peaceful stay

I enjoyed a peaceful stay in Saranac lake the property was lovely and the pool was nice. Short walk to Blue line brewery where I enjoyed a meal and conversation with locals.
