Super cute hotel conviently located by lots of shops and resturant. The beer gardens where a quick 5 min walk the former government building was a ten min walk Sapporo station: shopping center was a 24 min walk. Breakfast was delicious. The Morzatella and tomatoes bread!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The location is excellent nearby all the shops and restaurant's on the major shopping street. The breakfast was good and the amenities provided in the room were nice, as well as the availability of a laundry machine room on the first floor. Definitely recommend this hotel with a cool concept -- book cafe on the first floor.

I absolutely loved my stay at Lamp Light Books Hotel in Sapporo over the past two and a half weeks! The room was cozy and clean, the staff was incredibly helpful, and the cafe was a perfect spot to get some work done in the mornings. I was also thrilled that they had 3 combo washer/dryer machines in the hotel, however my clothes smelled a bit soiled after washing so I’m wondering if the staff needs to add more detergent in them. Regardless, the location was perfect and I really enjoyed my time in Sapporo!

My husband and I booked Lamp Light Books Hotel Sapporo as part of our stay in Sapporo as part of our honeymoon trip. Unfortunately because of the snow storm, our flight from Tokyo to Sapporo was cancelled. Thankfully the staff at Lamp Light Books Hotel were very understanding and accomodating and offered to refund our booking. We will definitely book next time we are back in Sapporo. Thank you!

Pleasant stay

The room is very small but clean and modern. The hotel is located on the quieter end of Tanukikoji, which is a shopping and eating area. The lobby of the hotel is a cafe with a lending library. The breakfast is a set menu of an open faced sandwich, soup of the day, and a choice of drink. We enjoyed our stay mostly due to the location
