The room was very small, but very tidy and clean. The breakfast was also good but a little bit greasy choice for me. If there was a simple continental breakfast choice( bread and butter with coffee) it was perfect.

Cute Cafe-Hotel

Cute hotel in a convenient area. Went to the Snow Festival and it wasn’t too far away. We didn’t take advantage of the books or the cafe but the food looked tasty and a range of books to choose from in different languages. It’s a little icy out during this time so be careful out there ;)

This property was amazing! It's located on a long shopping street that's car free and it was amazing to be able to just walk to any of the shops and restaurants nearby. The hotel room was perfect for a solo traveler. Getting to the hotel was simple and the staff were very helpful on arrival. Highly recommend this hotel.

The location definitely safe our experience. Room was very small so I would recommend if you have big luggages not to get the standard room. I found they over complicate things in order to just have housekeeping change linens etc. Everything is mostly self service, so guess you're getting what you're paying exactly.

This hotel and chain is themed around a 24 hour reading cafe, and the structure of the rooms, the use of space and the delightful nature of the do not disturb signs, "I am reading now". Just great. The breakfast was small and simple but tasty and sufficient.

I rarely leave a review for hotels but I did for this one because I really enjoyed my stay here. The hotel is really clean, staffs are really friendly, the area is surrounded by a lot of good restaurants and stores. The room is very spacious, bathroom is amazing, the downstairs cafe had really good food. 10/10 would recommend. I would come back to this hotel in the future! :)

While I never had a chance to grab a cup of coffee, the hotel's lobby doubles as a cute book cafe! The staff are super friendly and helpful--truly appreciated that they made a local call for me to my next stay in Noboribetsu as I only have data service on my phone. It's located at one end of the Tanuki-kōji Shopping Street and just minutes from Susukino so you have your pick of the litter in terms of amazing food and shopping. Loved my stay and will definitely check to see if they're available the next time I'm in Sapporo!

Hotel with a very unique atmosphere. Very clean and equiped with everything one can need for short stay. There is available also a washing mashine. The staff is friendly. The caffee at the 1sr floor serves one of the best quality espresso. The hotel is located in one of the shoping steets that offers plenty of options for dinning and shopping - the best place both for rainy and sunny days. The hotel is an walking distance to most of the city landmarks and to public transport

I visited in February 2025. The hotel is situated above a book-themed cafe which is an interesting concept but the book theme doesn't really make it into the guest rooms so much aside from a book or two lining the shelves. I had a double room which was actually quite small but the room and facilities are generally clean. It was nice to have on-site laundry. The location is very convenient from a shopping and restaurant standpoint as it's at the end of a busy shopping arcade - the good news is that it's at the end of the street so it wasn't particularly crowded. A couple things to note: 1) if you'd like to sit in the cafe area (open 24 hours), you are required to order a coffee, even if you're a guest of the hotel and 2) the cafe is open to the public until midnight I believe. One thing that would've been nice that I found every other hotel I stayed at in Japan included were a couple of free bottles of water each day - nothing a short trip to the konbini can't solve, but a nice gesture. Overall, a pleasant enough stay at a fairly basic hotel.

Nice hotel but rude staff

Pros - clean room Cons - Old lady in the front desk who processed my checkin is RUDE. After our interaction, I checked the reviews in google about this hotel and there are alot of bad reviews about the customer service of this hotel. Bec of that I made sure I never try to talk to anyone from the staff until I check out. I will not go again to this hotel bec of that old lady.
