“Beautiful property located in Alfama (old part of town). Hosts are lovely and very accommodating. We arrived late and Olinda, who is just wonderful, let us in. Hilarious and warm, we felt right at home. The home has everything you need, the shower was fantastic after a long day of walking around. The courtyard is lovely, we ate breakfast there everyday. Speaking of breakfast, couple of really nice coffee / pastry shops at walking distance (Fora, Augusto). Tram 28 stop very close to the location....

“The check in process and communication with the hosts was super easy. The location was also near cafes and picturesque. However, the photos of the interior were quite misleading. The actual apartment is very dark and not super clean. The fan was not working so we were extremely hot, and since the apartment is ground floor you get woken up many times in the night by cars, people, animals etc. Lastly, there is a big cockroach problem (we found 5 in one day). We booked 2 nights but decided to leave...

“The apartment is lovely and modern inside and we especially loved the private courtyard. The street and area had a lot of restaurants bit was surprisingly quiet inside at night. ”

“Perfecto - great location- great apartment- can’t think of anything negative to say - perfecto ”

“This property has its pros and cons. The pros are it is located in a really good location where attractions and shops are very convenient. The owners are very responsive and easy to work with. The apartment is clean and spacious with good value. Bakery and a small grocery is down stairs. Cell phone shop is in the alley for a new SIM card. There are two big cons that will cause me to not book the place again. The biggest is that the power supply to the apartment is inadequate. If you have two...
