Adonis and Anastasia are perfect hosts. Very cooperative and willing to help with everything. Breakfast is perfectly customizable and prompt and delicious. Amazing. I wished we had chosen a caldera view which would be another property but that is more my inability to do more research. Sole D Oro is perfect for what it provides.

We really enjoyed our stay. The staff was so friendly and welcoming! Our peach Bellini to welcome us was so nice and the deluxe breakfast delivered to our room the next morning made us feel like we were living our best life. Clean Rooms and Friendly Staff, but Misses the Iconic Santorini Experience While there are some positive aspects to this property, it ultimately falls short for anyone seeking a classic cliffside Santorini trip. The Highlights: The Room: In isolation, the room itself was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The Staff: The team working at the property was friendly and welcoming throughout the stay. The Drawbacks: Location & Views: The location is a major letdown. Staying here is the equivalent of visiting Las Vegas and booking a hotel ten minutes off the Strip. It completely lacks the iconic caldera-front setting, removing you from the vibrant energy and prime spots of the island. The Pool: The main pool leaves a lot to be desired. It is quite small and situated right next to the lobby reception area, making you feel like you are out on display rather than relaxing in a private oasis. Plunge Hot Tubs: These were similarly unappealing. They are very tight—barely fitting one or two people—and simply do not offer a setting where you actually want to sit back and unwind. The Verdict: Even with kind staff and comfortable rooms, I would not stay here again for a true Santorini experience. If a prime location, a relaxing pool setting, and caldera views are your non-negotiables, this property will not meet your expectations.
