We had a wonderful stay at Filomare Hotel and couldn't have been happier with our experience. The location is truly exceptional—just steps from the breathtaking Caldera, yet uniquely positioned to offer beautiful views from the pool overlooking the eastern side of the island and the sparkling Aegean Sea. It was the perfect balance of convenience, tranquility, and stunning scenery. The hotel itself was spotless, beautifully maintained, and incredibly welcoming. Every member of the staff was warm, friendly, and genuinely eager to make our stay enjoyable. Their hospitality made us feel right at home. Filomare is an outstanding choice with exceptional services We highly recommend it and would absolutely stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay! The deluxe villa was perfect for a family with easy access to a beautiful pool and a sitting area outside that over looks the sea with views of IOS island. Oia main attractions are across the street about a 5 min walk from a caldera view. Everything is very walkable. The pool drinks were amazing and service was top notch across the board (bartender, front desk and housekeeping). We loved having a refuge from the extremely crowded but beautiful main area of Oia. This felt like our own private oasis with great food including the included breakfast. There’s a convenience store right next door, a place to plan activities and a Pitogyros across the street. Would stay here again!!!

Our family of 4 (2 adults and 2 teenagers) stayed in the Executive Villa in August 2026. The hotel had opened just 3 months earlier, so everything was brand new and gorgeous. We used the hotel transfer (€55 cash), which was absolutely worth it. The driver was waiting for us at the airport. We were amazed to discover that the Executive Villa is actually a beautiful 3-story house right next to the pool! We felt like royalty. It has 2 full bathrooms. Although Filomare is currently a 3-star hotel, it definitely felt like a 4-star. The breakfast buffet was delicious, with bacon, sausages, eggs, cold cuts, cheeses, fresh fruit, Greek salad, yogurt, pastries, panna cotta, fresh juices and an excellent espresso machine. My only recommendation would be to make the coffee machine available from 6 a.m. with takeaway cups, since breakfast and coffee only start at 8 a.m. The pool area is beside a bus parking lot, but thankfully it is on a lower level and mostly invisible while sitting by the pool. You see the beautiful sea, making for gorgeous photos. The partial sunset view is breathtaking. I recommend the villa only for families with children over three, as the staircase railings have large openings that would be very dangerous for toddlers. I also recommend adding handrails to the exterior stairs, as my husband fell once. The location is unbeatable: literally a 1-minute walk from Santorini’s main pedestrian street and famous blue domes. Convenience store and car rental nearby.

We were lucky to have enjoyed this beautiful resort shortly after its opening. It has a beautiful outdoor pool area and bar with the view of the sea. Panos the bartender was incredibly attentive and talented in making us delicious cocktails! He has original cocktail recipes that are outstanding. He was friendly and a pleasure to talk to. There was a buffet breakfast every morning which offered a wide variety of fresh options as well as hot eggs and bacon. All delicious! It was a great way to start the morning. Seating was indoor or outdoors which was nice. The location is fantastic. The resort is located in Oia within walking distance to restaurants, cafes and shops of Santorini where you can enjoy the sunset. If you don’t rent a car, you can take the large airconditioned buses which leave close to the Hotel Filomare. Lastly I need to mention the delightful girls at the front desk, especially Athena who was so helpful. She was very knowledgeable about the island and always took the time to chat with us. Overall, staying at the Filomare Oia Suites was a great experience.

Beautiful property with perfect t location behind Oua. The executive suite is incredible, only minor downside is the bus station is in the view of the water but wasn’t overly annoying most of the time.

Amazing hotel and really nice and helpful stuff. They let us check in early and kept our suitcases after the checkout while we went to the beach. And they offered us to take a shower after that while ordering a car to the airport. Also the design of this hotel is modern and reminds me an island of privacy, but situated right across Oia. Everything is new and very clean. And breakfast is excellent, not mentioning the view of the sea. Highly recommend it to anyone!

Wir hatten einen rundum fantastischen Aufenthalt – wirklich alles war super! Besonders die Lage des Hotels in Oia war perfekt. Die wichtigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten und Hauptattraktionen von Santorini waren ganz in der Nähe und alles war bequem zu Fuß erreichbar in oia Gleichzeitig lag das Hotel nicht direkt mitten im Trubel, sodass man trotzdem Ruhe und Privatsphäre genießen konnte. Die Aussicht war einfach traumhaft, der Pool wunderschön und insgesamt war die gesamte Anlage wirklich top. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und würden das Hotel jederzeit wieder buchen. Absolute Empfehlung!
