Unfortunately, the experience was far from what was advertised.
Biggest issue was communication. The only way to reach the hotel was through Expedia, and responses were slow and unreliable. Before arrival, we arranged airport transportation with the hotel, provided all required details, only to arrive at the airport with no one waiting for us. After contacting Expedia, the hotel finally responded and sent transport, but despite the inconvenience and stress caused, we were still charged for it.
We booked a private jacuzzi, sea-view room. Instead, the room was located right beside reception, with no privacy at all. It was noisy early in the morning due to staff preparing breakfast in the nearby kitchen. The “sea view” was also misleading, it was a very partial view, largely blocked by another building. We had to keep the blinds closed most of the time for privacy, which defeated the purpose of paying for a view.
Departure was another challenge. We had to leave at 6 AM, and there was no staff available to assist us. Carrying heavy luggage down more than four levels of stairs and across uneven, rocky paths in the dark was extremely inconvenient. This property is definitely not suitable for anyone with musculoskeletal issues, or travelers who simply don’t want to haul 20+ kg suitcases on cliffs.
To be fair, the receptionist we eventually dealt with was kind, and the breakfast was good.
Overall, I would not recommend this hotel and would not stay here again.
