Checked in late by security guard. Everything went smooth except he kept our document until morning, which was uncomfortable. Room was nice and breakfast was freshly made and delicious. Restaurants in the area are open until late. Downside is no beach access.

This hotel is in decent shape, it is located very close to the airport and we used it on a travel day where out flight arrived late and we didn't want to drive to our destination (2 hours away) at night. The staff is nice and the grounds are acceptable.

Guest services were nice pleasant. They walked me to my room and will show you around the property. Everything was clean and easy access to the beach and restaurants. The area is under construction as of the time of my visit but during my vacation I stayed at multiple hotels and this is the best hotel Ive been too in DR.

Free breakfast was good, service was good but to many stray cats to enjoy the meal they were on the chairs and tables, wife refused to eat there.

We loved our stay. This is a tiny guest house boutique style hotel. The room was clean. The AC was only in the bedroom but freezing cold. You’ll need paper towels and wash clothes for hand drying and bathing. Breakfast was wonderful. Best coffee. Plenty of beautiful restaurants and about a 7 minute walk to the popular beach. Very safe area, even at night.

The staff are amazing and Elvis communicated really important information which was priceless. He organised transfers and was extremely helpful. The property is undergoing renovations and my room was a bit tired. I hope to return soon and spend a little more time there and explore the area.

First night I was given a bed that sunk, next day my back was misaligned and gave me problems for two days, I was given another room with a firm mattress. The hotel is clean and has steaming hot water, the two rooms I stayed in had a faint smell of cigarettes, the decore is out dated but clean. The breakfast is good and the area is pretty safe, I wouldn’t mind staying again but only if the mattress is firm. The staff are friendly. The WiFi works great in any area if the property. Air conditioners work great.

Mushrooms growing in the bathroom

Pros: - the staff are lovely and extremely helpful even though most don’t speak English - I felt safe in the room (albeit not in the area) - bed was clean - breakfast was great - check in/out was easy - good selection of restaurants in area Cons: - mushrooms and mould growing around the room (see photos) - my room backed onto someone’s house and there was loud conversation/construction meaning I couldn’t get a lie in - very loud atmosphere around the hotel making it difficult to sleep - not very close to beach unless you went into marina restaurants - no room cleaning so no top ups of things like toilet paper (was there for 5 days) - old and needs refurbishing - swimming pool surrounded by stagnant water and so mosquitos
