Booked this stay very last-minute and had such a pleasant experience! The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, even though I arrived almost in the middle of the night. They were also very responsive and communicative on WhatsApp, which I really appreciated. The location can be a little tricky to find since the sign isn’t very visible, but the neighborhood is helpful. It’s also only walkable distance to the plaza and the bus terminal, which is a big plus. Overall, a great stay and I’d definitely come back! ❤️

From the outside it doesn't seem much, but the rooms have good amenities like A/C and a firm bed. There are two local restaurants (Deveida) and the unnamed one on the left side of the Lirio hotel. I stayed in room #5, the only issue is that there is not a lot of water flow in the shower and they have to put directions on how to operate the water heater in English/Spanish/French. I recommend this hotel but you have to ask them for directions on how to operate the water heater and put you in a room with good water pressure in the shower. I slept well and was comfortable.

Pleasant stay with very helpful staff! The staff assisted me in finding parking before even making it to check in. Also provided free coffee and crackers the morning before check out. Highly recommend this stay for anyone looking for a base to explore the Dominican capital and interested in exploring its historic zona colonial.
