I arrived at an inconvenient time but my check in was warm and quick! My room was really comfortable and the AC was great! The breakfast area is rustic and wonderful. Staff is kind and attentive. Location is ideal if your goal is to discover Zona Colonial during your stay - and there is LOTS to discover!

All was good. One of the cleaning staff did not have the best attitude. If you knock for 12 check in and it’s not quite 12 yet, maybe wait and give a grace period of 10-15 minutes. All other staff were great.

The staff is very friendly—I could never deny that—and the hotel’s location is excellent. They have a bar, but unfortunately, it is not well stocked. The room was extremely small and had no window. The lighting was terrible; there was only a dim yellow light, which made it difficult to see properly or apply makeup. The bathroom was also far too small, the shower was broken, and the water pressure was very low. There was barely any closet space and nowhere to organize my belongings. The room was also extremely noisy. You could hear all the street noise, including horns, cars, and motorcycles, which made it difficult to rest comfortably.

Clean and beautiful hotel. Enjoy the art display and easy access to the major sightseeing areas . Very happy with our stay. The breakfast is great with excellent service and setting. The only compliant is that the shower water is cold.

I hate to say how much I love this hotel because it's a bargain and a gem that I don't want to lose. The staff were really nice. It has a wonderful restaurant. The architecture is old but really well preserved and updated.

The place is wonderful. It's like staying at an art museum. The staff is so kind and serviceable. Jose receives us with complementary drunks, and explained vwey well all our options. Adamilca took care of us at all times, even providing an umbrella for us on a rainy day, and John prepared the most delicious cocktails.

Great location.. I have been coming to Santo Domingo for years, and have stayed at numerous hotels in La Zona Colonial and Bella Vista. I believe I have discovered the hotel that I will be returning to in the future. Clean. Staff was awesome. We were greeted warmly on arrival, and offered a cold pineapple juice (best I’ve ever had) while we waited during check in. The hallways and artwork are beautiful. Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful. Staff was flexible and available if we had needs. I would love to write that the hotel was awful, terrible, so other possible guests in the future don’t go to this hotel so I can have it all to myself! A wonderful stay. ONLY negative was my friends stayed on a first floor room facing the street, and it was quite loud during the night. I think that is just the way it is going to be. BUT a great hotel!!!!

The hotel is amazing. Great hidden jewel in Zona colonial. Great service, great room. The restaurant is a must! Area outside of the hotel is a bit sketchy but it is normal, probably dont walk alone late at night. But during the day is safe.
