Absolutely unsurpassed service - from the moment we reached the hotel to departure, seamless customer first service that made us feel so valued. Beautiful room with huge windows, thoughtful turn down service with touches that I hadn’t experienced in other hotels, one of the best hotel breakfasts that I’d ever seen, gorgeous communal spaces and a well-equipped gym. Zero upgrades offered. I asked hotel check in occupancy and was told “less than half”. I asked for a high floor; I was told any and all upgrades are saved for guests that book directly with the hotel. Sad, as I lived the brand. But felt like I was told “I am not good enough for them”. But hotel was well maintained. Food options were above average. The best part of the hotel was the bell staff, as they made an amazing first impression.

An immaculate and friendly five star hotel. Rooms are large and really well appointed, with USB plugs, nice toiletries and really comfortable beds, plus space to work. All the staff are so helpful and really looked after me as a solo traveller. Lots to walk to nearby, although there are alsoa lot of big roads. Both restaurants are really good.

Be careful with Loxosceles laeta at the hotel

I usually like the hotel, but after being bitten by the Loxosceles laeta spider and the hotel's handling, I lack words for the way they react, not even help to get to the hospital/or an email, a card to ask where your situation is (this should not be the hotel's standard) even after talking to the assistance room director they just apologize... so be careful!!!

Brilliant weekend. Still waiting for the Spa to be renovated but enjoyed a relaxing massage anyway. Matsuri restaurant was fantastic on Saturday night. Staff were friendly , breakfast good . Excellent view from the room of the Andes. Very good.

A great hotel, however, it is not what you would expect from a Mandarin Oriental hotel. Service was a bit below par and the towels in the room seems to be on the cheap side. Again a great hotel but in my opinion does not stand up to the Mandarin Oriental standard.

Supremely comfortable and relaxing

Modern and exceptionally comfortable hotel Quality of service generally is excellent although service on the terrace and around the pool was slow. I stayed six nights and enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere and particularly the pool area and gardens The food in both the bar and the Italian restaurant was good value and excellent The elegance and facilities plus the fact that there is a large mall with quality shops only five minutes walk away help make up for the fact the hotel is some way out of the downtown and historic centre
