Great location, very short walk to the beach. Hotel was lovely, well furnished and clean. Staff could have been friendlier, and location-wise there weren't too many restaurants to choose from.

Beautiful and well kept hotel. It’s equivalent to a high end hotel in Chicago or NY but a fraction of the cost. Beautiful area with plenty of walking paths and only a few meters to the beach.

Stayed for long weekend, hotel is great, staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was a nice size with a huge bed. Nicely decorated and cleaned to a high standard. Would defintely stay again.

Very nice smart hotel in nice area

Used for an overnight stop in Santander. In a very nice, - I'd say - quite upmarket part of Santander. It's within a 5 minute walk of one of the main beaches and there are plenty of reasonably priced restaurants/bars within very easy walking distance (which might be important because the hotel restaurant seemed a bit pricey - not that we used it). Great location for the Ferry to Plymouth, which is just a 10 minute drive away.

It is a very old building, which has not been maintained well. We were given room 101 that faced the backyard and smelled throughout. We tried complaining but they didn’t understand. Overall would rate it as 3 star

Clean but beds and service not up to standard.

I stayed two nights 28-30 June. Rm 636 had two broken beds which were reported and not resolved for my first sleepless night. It took a follow up the second evening to resolve. Not a proactive or apologetic engagement with staff. Very disappointed to pay a decent tariff for a hotel without a serviceable bed. Otherwise, the hotel was clean, fresh and had a comfortable feel. Not what you would reasonably expect.
