Room was slightly shabby; carpet way beyond it's expiration date. Cheap/mediocre mattress. Otherwise an interesting, conveniently located historic sort of place.

My husband and I were totally charmed with our stay. We live only 10 miles away from Santa Paula and had never stayed at the Glen Tavern Inn. Dinner at the restaurant located inside the Inn was more than we had hoped for. Very romantic with a great wine list and an enticing menu. We were treated with the music of a vey accomplished musician who played the piano and accordion as we dined. The Glen Tavern Inn is very unique in that it is a very historic building. Our room was clean, comfortable and had the charm of being very original to the era that the Inn was built. The lobby is amazing! We love the fact that we found such a wonderful experience so close to home. It was a bit of a splurge for us... but then again so close to home!

If you want a great place for socializing over dinner for family reunions or with groups of friends this place is great. The dinning room is cozy and separated from great room that has ample seating with sofas, love seats, bench seats, and lounge chairs nicely arranged. Its also a historic landmark that has for many years said to be haunted.
