Our experience at Irotama was amazing. The grounds are incredibly beautiful, well-tended to, and clean. We stayed in a bungalow which we found very comfortable. It was enjoyable to sit out in front in the morning to have coffee and enjoy the view. It felt very private and was quite comfortable. The beach was beautiful, swimmable, and unobstructed by buildings. We could view it from the bungalow, shaded beach chairs/table, and restaurants. There are vendors who walk the beach selling a variety of goods-jewelry, hats, food, drink, massages. The less we engaged, the more we were left alone and vice versa. Bring Colombian Pesos if you wish to purchase anything on the beach. The pools are excellent! I loved the main pool at ground level, especially swimming in the late afternoon and evening. It wasn’t too crowded or noisy. The staff at Irotama were so friendly and helpful. We speak English and some Spanish and found very few English speakers. Downloading a translation app was helpful for more complex interactions. Aside from meals at Irotama, shopping and food is available a ten minute walk away at Zazue Mall. There are many options to choose from, as well as a grocery store. There is also a small convenience store on the road in-between Irotama and Hilton. It’s simple to get to Irotama from the airport and back again. A shuttle runs on a regular schedule. I would definitely visit here again.

I booked a Bungalow to be closer to the beach but the unit wasn’t in good condition, there was not luggage benchs, no coffee maker, no table at the porche. the phone didn’t work so to request anything we had to walk to the main building or call from the bar. The fridge was damaged and the first morning there was water in the way to the bathroom and my husband fell. After that we had to ask to be asigned to a unit in proper condition for any guest. The customer service manager was very diligent and relocated us to an apartament with an upgrade something that was fair considering an unpleasant first night. A recomendación to house keeping departament to instruct the staff to be careful closing doors when cleaning. the third night our apartament was infested by mosquitos. We didn’t left the door open but I asked to apply bug spray in the balcony and probably they should have left the slide door open. Hope Ziritama keep up the quality service they used to have a fee years ago Cheers

Pire expérience vécue dans un resort.J’ai l’habitude de voyager, mais je n’ai jamais vu un service aussi déplorable. J’ai réservé un séjour pour 2 adultes et 2 enfants, mais à l’arrivée à l’hôtel, ma fille de 14 ans a été facturée comme une adulte, ce qui m’a obligé à repayer 1 200 $ supplémentaires, alors que ce montant avait déjà été réglé lors de la réservation.Dans les restaurants, il faut être extrêmement vigilant : on nous a ajouté sur la facture des bouteilles d’eau et des items que nous n’avons jamais commandés. À chaque repas, il fallait vérifier en détail pour éviter les erreurs.Malgré cette situation inacceptable, aucun geste commercial n’a été offert. J’ai également demandé un remboursement d’une nuit, seulement sur le surplus facturé pour ma fille puisque notre séjour a dû être écourté, mais l’hôtel a catégoriquement refusé.Enfin, l’accueil et le service du personnel sont très décevants : attitude fermée, peu souriante, aucun sens du service à la clientèle.Une expérience très frustrante que je ne recommande absolument pas.

Wunderschöne Strandanlage mit schönen Bungalows

Unser Bungalow war gross, gut eingerichtet mit bequemen Betten und schönem Bad mit Regendusche. In kurzer Distanz gelangt man zum schönen Privatstrand. Das Frühstücksbüffet war umfangreich, und man konnte es im Freien nähe Strand geniessen. Der Poil war gross, schön und sauber. Nan kann auch die Pools der anderen Hotels innerhalb der Anlage nutzen. 10 Min. zu Fuss zum Einkaufszentrum.
