Great hotel, good value. The hotel is very clean, staff is really good, the pool is excellent. Restaurant is good, a little over priced. People with mobility issues may have a problem, lots of stairs, no elevators. Coffee machine and fridge in room would be a good idea. Ice machine was broken while we were there, but got ice from bar. Also, the lightning is not the best around hotel. Overall, had a great stay, plan to return there next year. I do recommend this hotel.

If you want accommodation in la Crucecita but still want to feel like you are away from town, Princess Mayev is the best location. This is an older hotel. The rooms however, are a good size. The pool is a very nice size. Everything is clean. The food in the attached restaurant is very good and the service is excellent. You can easily walk to and from the centre of town or take the taxi. You are within walking distance of both Chahue and Santa Cruz beaches. We walked almost everywhere, including Tangalonga bay. We are in our mid 60s so you can walk every where too! I would not hesitate to stay at Princess Mayev for the location alone.

Great stay

We had a great stay in Villa 2, with our own little private cooling pool. Service was great. Cleaning was pretty good. Staff were very friendly and helpful. There can be quite a bit of street noise at night, especially on weekends. The party buses driving by are LOUD, but usually stop by 1am. Xmas decorations were over top the awesome.

Best Hotel in Huatulco

Our group booked this hotel as our last hotel out of 3 hotels that we stayed at during our 2 week trip. This hotel was the best in regards to location, service, and rooms. Our friends booked a pool walkout suite and the hottub suite while my wife and I booked a private pool suite. All suites were great. The food at the hotel was amazing and very reasonably priced. The staff were welcoming and always friendly. The hotel was located in a great area with beaches and shopping only a 35 peso taxi ride away. I will definitely stay here again.

I stayed 6 nights end of March. Staff was amazing and friendly, restaurant service impeccable and all my dishes breakfast and dinner were delicious, pool clean, distance to centro less than 10 min. Close to shopping centers and beaches. Rooms have full size toiletries. Older rooms but clean and comfy. Suggestions, fridge and microwave and better lighting in the room. This was a wonderful hotel. The staff were amazing and very friendly. The front desk staff were great and helped us with any questions. The manager Ricardo was very engaging and checked in with us often to see how our trip and stay were going. The food in the restaurant was fantastic and reasonably priced. Our servers Enrique and Eder were excellent and provided exceptional service. The hotel itself was well located and was a good base for all of exploring. The grounds and facilities were well maintained and we loved spending time at the 2 pools- with a third opening soon. We are hoping to come back soon!
