The location is fantastic. Right near all the restaurants and shops. All rooms have views of the water. Rooms are a good size and extremely clean. Staff is kind and helpful. Great breakfasts buffet with many choices.

Quite possibly one of the best and cleanest of hotels we have ever stayed. Great location, excellent breakfast buffet every day, and an attentive staff to every detail—-very friendly. The rooms and balconies with a view were awesome. We rented tiny electric Fiats to gain quick access to Portofino, and other shopping areas nearby. Would recommend this property all day long!

Hotel Laurin is in a perfect location on the water, close to many Restaurants and some shopping. The boats to Portofino leave almost across from the hotel. Many rooms have a small terrace with view over the port. The included breakfast has a good selection. Laurin is definitely a great choice for a stay in Santa Margherite and the Portofino coast.

Friendly staff, great view from the room and central walking location. Small rooftop pool/terrace, get there early for a chair/sun-bed. For the price, can probably find a better hotel within walking distance(0.5 miles), right on the water with 2 pools, water access, spa, more sun chairs, also breakfast included... but if that one is sold out, this is a great option.

Stayed for one night with my family in front view room. Hotel has a roof top swimming pool and is in a very great location close to the beach, restaurants and cafes. Breakfast was included and very delicious coffee and food selections. Staff were very friendly I highly recommend this place.

Balcony was beautiful and we could sit and look at the view. Great location for eh central downtown you could walk in either direction and get to quick places to eat and shop. Loved being close to the water and staff was helpful and friendly.

The suite had a noticeable damp smell when we arrived. During our stay, we discovered that the AC unit was leaking, which likely explains where the damp smell was coming from. I also would not classify this hotel as a true 4-star property. Based on the overall condition, quality, and amenities, it felt much more like a 3-star hotel, and I believe the pricing should reflect that. Had I known beforehand that this was more comparable to a 3-star property, my expectations would have been very different. Unfortunately, at the price we paid and with the hotel being advertised as 4-star, I expected a noticeably higher standard. That being said, the staff were very friendly and welcoming throughout our stay, which we appreciated.
