I had a fantastic stay at Hotel Continental even during the offseason! Our room had panoramic ocean views. The property was well-maintained, peaceful, and had all the amenities needed for a comfortable and relaxing getaway. While it was a quieter time of year, I actually appreciated the tranquility and had a great experience exploring the area without the usual crowds. The staff was incredibly accommodating, ensuring everything was perfect from check-in to check-out. If you’re looking for a serene retreat, this place is a hidden gem no matter the season. I highly recommend it and would love to return!

The staff at this property was amazing!! We travelled with our son and his family of 5. Children ranging 7mths to 4 years old. Antonio the waiter and Luigina the maître d’ went above and beyond to ensure that the children ate what they wanted (not on menu) and were so helpful throughout our stay. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. I cannot say enough positive things about this property! Highly recommend it!

Property is old and need of an upgrade. The room was very small, toilet and phone did not work, water pressure was awful, and apparently the spa is undergoing renovations, something that was not disclosed. The balcony is big and and the view amazing but overall I would say there are better places to stay in Santa Margherita

Get what you expect

Had a good stay at a place which delivered what you'd expect. Hotel is 50's-chiq in this typical Italy riviera style, so not modern but also not worn-down. Clean and well taken-care of. Very service minded staff although not so smiley as they were last time (which we like when they are). These were more serious but very service-minded. Breakfast setting amazing with the view but breakfast content a bit of a disappointment. We had a better one at the place we stay at the nights before at less than half the price. No egg station, few bread options and not a lot of fresh fruit (just melon, apple etc.). View and location are the big pluses and price + the fact parking is not included in such a price is just a mistake. (Who arrives to Santa Margherita without a car? Then include parking in the price).

Wir haben das Hotel gegen 12 Uhr über eine App gebucht und sind ca. 5 Minuten nach der Buchungsbestätigung an die Rezeption gegangen, um nachzufragen, wann wir das Zimmer beziehen können. Nach 22 Stunden Fahrt mit einem kleinen Kind hofften wir auf ein Entgegenkommen. Der Mitarbeiter sagte, dass das Zimmer garantiert ab 15 Uhr fertig sei, aber voraussichtlich schon gegen 13:30 oder 14 Uhr bezogen werden könne. Leider war das Zimmer um diese Zeit nicht fertig. Wir warteten zunächst im Hotelrestaurant und danach im Auto auf dem Hotelparkplatz. Um 14 Uhr sagte ein anderer Mitarbeiter, dass das Zimmer erst frühestens ab 15 Uhr bezugsbereit sei. Am Ende konnten wir erst um 15:20 Uhr einziehen, obwohl das Zimmer bereits gereinigt war (wir kannten die Zimmernummer schon beim Check-in). Zusätzlich wurde uns beim Check-out 70 € für den Parkplatz im Freien berechnet, obwohl dies beim Check-in nicht erwähnt wurde. Auch die Preise im Restaurant wurden beim Auschecken ohne Hinweis geändert und abgerechnet. Ein weiterer negativer Punkt: Die Mitarbeiter zeigten wenig Interesse daran, auf Deutsch zu kommunizieren, obwohl dies auf der Hotelwebseite zugesichert wird. Insgesamt waren wir enttäuscht und werden dieses Hotel nicht weiterempfehlen.
