We had a lovely stay at La Fonda! The location was perfect and we enjoyed everything there was to do and see in the Plaza area. Absolutely loved staying at this hotel. It gives an old school boutique vibe. Beautiful atmosphere and decor. The room was very nice and comfortable. Room service was great. Every employee I communicated with from valet to room service was awesome, friendly and polite. The hotel is located in the heart of it all in the downtown art district. La Fonda is always wonderful because of its historic location and building. Major construction, so bar in the lobby is closed and access to the parking garage is difficult. That part is supposed to be completed by June.

The property is beautiful and the restaurant was wonderful. The area was fanatic. Gorgeous. Check in staff a bit odd and lacked friendliness. The valet isn’t a true valet, you’ll need to go get your own car and walk with luggage to the garage to get your own car. We loved our stay. Lovely place and area.
