Despite claims of a recent remodel, the bed was tough and felt like an outdated box-spring. We were stuck next to a loud ice machine that cycled on and off all night; the hotel was full so they couldn’t move us. Walls had unexplained stains running down them, and the bathroom had about five flies we had to swat. There was a mini fridge and microwave; however, there was a coffee maker— no cups, coffee, or tea. No ice bucket or bags either, and the lobby didn’t even have a fork. This was a real letdown. $180 for one night and this is what we got—definitely not worth it.

You won’t be disappointed

Me my family and friends have made this hotel our 1st choice when traveling to Santa Cruz, you can’t beat the price and conveniently close to board walk. And the staff is great.

Sam (owner and front desk) was great! Rooms are well renovated! Lobby and exterior need some updating, but they are currently doing lots of work to update it. Right next to the Boardwalk and incredibly convenient.

The location was a five minute walk to Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk. The bathroom glass walk in shower was my favorite feature. Although the room was extremely small it was very clean and comfy bed! I would stay here again next time I visit Santa Cruz!!
