Room was clean and well stocked with complimentary snacks. Pool area is fabulous! Had lunch at Low Tide and it was very good although never got a coffee refill and our server wasn’t very nice. The only complaint about the hotel is our room had an adjoining door and we could hear everything the people in the other room said, it was very loud. Apparently, the hotel knows this is a problem and is working it out so that should be resolved soon. Great experience overall

It's so nicely redone that it doesn't feel historic, which is a shame. It's pristine. The bed was the MOST COMFORTABLE bed I've ever slept in. I do feel for the price though that parking should have been free. I parked on the street and got a parking ticket which was still cheaper than the valet. We took the bikes and it was a nice touch! The pool is amazing. The drinks are too expensive to even purchase one though.

Excellent room with one big caveat: I had a patio room on the pool level, but that patio faced the canvas back of a cabana. No privacy to left or right, and separating the patio and the blue-striped canvas is a walkway mostly used by staff. Not what I had in mind, and rather awkward to sit out there. Good bed, great shower. Very nice freebees including a quite good full bottle of cabernet sauvignon. I breakfasted twice in the Low Tide restaurant where staff are willing but under-trained. Room service was very good. The lobby bartender was into his work, experimenting and engaged. The location is steps from the boardwalk and beach.

We just stayed at La Bahia Hotel & Spa and I honestly can’t say enough good things about it. From the moment we arrived, everything felt top-tier. The staff was incredibly respectful, friendly, and always ready to help with anything we needed. You can tell they genuinely care about the experience they’re providing. The hotel itself was beautiful and extremely clean—every area felt well taken care of and thoughtfully designed. There’s also so much to do, which made the stay feel like more than just a place to sleep. The gym especially stood out—seriously one of the best hotel gyms I’ve seen. Big shoutout to the valet team too—they handled my truck perfectly, no issues at all, and were professional the entire time. Overall, it was an amazing experience. We would absolutely love to have our wedding here in the future. We’re already planning to visit regularly and will be recommending this hotel to everyone we know.

Staff was great ! Location was perfect for walking to the pier, boardwalk or dinner. A nice weekend in Santa Cruz at La Bahia.
