It is an older property without too many bells and whistles, so you get what you pay for. It does have a complimentary breakfast. My room was small with no view, but I did get there late. It is in town, so if Santa Cruz is your focus you are in a central location. The place is just a little run down. But safe and clean. Just your basic budget hotel.

The staff was really nice and welcoming. The room was clean and spacious. You need to pay for parking, but the breakfast was free and had quite a few options. The only complaint would be that we stayed on the second floor, and the noise level from the room above us was horribly loud. Nothing that the staff could do about it, though. The people above us were just arguing for a few hours...

Good bargain in the heart of Santa Cruz. Large, clean rooms. Yes, parking is $16.50 per day, but it’s convenient and far better than driving around hoping for a place for two-hour parking. Recommend without hesitation. Oh, breakfast included and OK in a pinch.

Hotel rooms are spacious and clean. However, the rooms I stayed in didn’t have windows and that’s important for me. The walls are thin and can hear people outside my room at night and on top. Spacious rooms for families, parking fee for every night.

Large suite and very clean overall. Ice machine on 3rd floor out-of-order. Bed was okay. Kuerig coffee machi ne in room. 😄 Didn't use jetted tub as main bathroom had bad mold and mildew smell.

The hotel was nice. It was clean and quiet. Unfortunately the elevator was out of service and I had to get my bags up and down 3 flights of stairs and there was no offer to help. I’m a 60 year old woman and would have appreciated some assistance. However, I would stay here again I do have 2 complaints. First, the breakfast; it was not good at all. A very limited selection and the little that was available was not tasty The second complaint is about the front desk staff. The evening/early morning staff was very helpful and pleasant however the day shift was unhelpful and on one day, the attendant was rude and clearly was unhappy to be at the desk.

Room was very spacious and clean, but the beds were so uncomfortable and you could hear everything happening outside the room. Breakfast was gone very quickly, would recommend to go early or there won't be much left.
