This hotel was everything that I was hoping for! The entire property was integral in creating a romantic experience for my partner and me. In addition to the flawless presentation of the building and room, they offered numerous small gestures to make us feel pampered (fresh cookies when checking in, bowl of dog water in the lobby, delicious pour over coffee in the room and terrific snacks). The location was amazing for easy access to dining and a walk to the beach. The linens and bed were exceptional. Just note that downtown State St gets rather loud at night these days, but that isn't a reflection of the hotel itself, just something that effects the peace of the trip.
