It was run down, the bed was a very hard matress along with the pillows. I slept very poor. Upon arrival the room was very hot, the wall a/c unit took hours to cool down the space. Also, all night the a/c blew directly on me laying down. If I turned it off, the room became very stuffy. Also, the room did not look like the photo at all, the picture looks renovated, our room was not modern. The location was great and felt safe. Not in walking distance though to shops and restaurants on State Street.

AFFORDABLE. LOCATIONS. Those are the two main reasons to stay here. This is a funky older motel but perfect for what we needed. We used the free beach bikes and the outside deck. Super close walk to State street establishments. Short drive or bike to pier and beach

Our room was spotless & comfortable. Our beds were really comfortable, water pressure was great, plenty of hot water, nice little refrigerator. We loved sitting out on the deck. The adorondack chairs were so comfortable. Elizabeth (the manager) was wonderful & helpful.

Convenient location and parking is easy. They offer things like bikes and have a nice deck. The AC was a little tricky to figure out and the lock on our door was difficult to open with the key. Very bare bones and very little in terms of other amenities. Perhaps one of the best amenities is its location across the way from the Marriott which has a nice lobby, bar, and restaurant inside. I would say average to below average but the price was good.
