Bathroom and floors were not cleaned. It was nice to have a kitchen, however, when we requested dishes they came dirty. Stove knobs were worn and we could not see the temperature. Staff was very kind.

Dtown Santa Barbara wasn't too far away. It was enjoyable. You might need their pans I brought my own and my pan struggled to heat up on their electric stove.

The front desk staff was great however the room smelled of cigarette, the windows were open, tv disconnected, the walls looked like they had been allowed to age without any repairs, head board had a bunch of black marks and scratches, overall not a comfortable stay unfortunately.

Highly recommend. Not far from anywhere at all. I read reviews prior to booking, I came across the “smelly” rooms but my room didn’t smell, it was very clean, I like that there were mattress covers. They tell you at check in what the rooms have and don’t have, it is a pet friendly hotel so if there was any sort of smell, it’s just the basic animal stench. Customer service was great ! 10/10.

parking was fine, check in fine. there was NO Coffee Pot or Tea in the room. For a $270 per night room, where is the coffee pot? Don't be so cheap. Also the Elevator was slow, there was no pool, no jacquzzi, no weight room. The bedspread was Military issue, thin and unimpressive. No Shampoo or Condiitioner in the shower. Not. what I expected for Santa Barbara. And the "Breakfast Included", pathetic, lobby snack stand with packaged oatmeal and costco muffins. so sad. That was NOT breakfast, that was deceitful.

Pros: I appreciated the size of the room and kitchen set up. The staff was fairly quick on their responses to requests, but I feel that since I checked in at night, I didn't get the best intro to the hotel and information. I liked the convenient location and ample parking. Cons: The AC unit does not stay consistently on, so it makes a lot of noise when it turns on. Would've appreciated a more stable AC unit. The water was warm at best, making it difficult and uncomfortable to shower in the cooler weather. I expect that there would be hot water for my week long stay. Overall, good value for the price I paid, but not sure I would be back at this particular location.

The staff was very sweet and helpful, and the rooms were clean, which I appreciated. However, the amenities were lacking, breakfast was just muffins and coffee, and there was no shampoo or body wash provided in the bathrooms. The beds also felt quite flimsy and uncomfortable.

This place is pretty gross and run down. You have to get shampoo at the front desk. If you want new bedding, you take it off your bed yourself and bring to the front desk and they give you new linens. No housekeeping unless you stay for 14 days. Staff was fine. Room was very clean. Bed was horribly uncomfortable. Walls are paper thin and we were woken up at 3am by the room next door “using their bed” so aggressively that our bed was shaking—we at first thought there was an earthquake. Its basically a seedy hotel. Santa Barbara is a safe area generally so it wasn’t scary but this place is bare bones.
